About Grub Cycle:
Grub Cycle works to combat food wastage by funnelling surplus food items back to the community while subsidising lower income families with basic necessities. In an effort to reduce wastage, food items discarded due to damaged packaging, mislabelling, or have gone past shelf life, are resold at a bargain price. We also repurpose fresh items to make other products, such as tarts andacar. Part of the proceeds go to subsidising costs of basic necessities, such as rice and oil, to lower income communities. This enables us to reduce wastage, educate the community, and help those in need.
Wen Shin of Green Yards
About Green Yards:
Green Yards was founded in early 2016. They seek to address environmental issues by providing an eco-friendly channel for the community to dispose their used cooking oil. The used oil is then reprocessed into eco-cleaning products and eco-candles. All Green Yards products are handmade with love, environmental friendly and free of harsh chemicals.
